Fostering North–South and South–South partnerships across academia, health institutions, governments, industry, and venture capital.
AI4AHI actively promotes collaboration with global partners, including universities, research institutes, professional societies, development agencies, and international organizations. Particular emphasis is placed on strengthening partnerships between Africa and the rest of the world while fostering collaboration among African countries to build sustainable regional AI ecosystems.
The conference aims to produce lasting impact through:
A Rabat Declaration on Responsible AI for Health in Africa, providing a shared roadmap for trustworthy, equitable, and sustainable AI adoption across the continent. This declaration would reflect the same principles emphasized by WHO: governance, interoperability, accountability, human rights, equity, and practical implementation.
Submit original research, emerging evidence and practical innovations addressing the continent’s health priorities through Artificial Intelligence.
